The Westphalian company Blomberg describes itself as a quality manufacturer of white goods with a history of more than 100 years. Blomberg was founded in 1883 and set the highest quality standards from the very beginning, which also led to success. In 1978, the company acquired the Austrian household appliance manufacturer Elektra Bregenz.
